Dr Byrne is one of the best Dr's I have ever had . He is caring and takes time to answers any concerns I have had. I've been going to him for a number of years. both as an oncologist and now as a hematologist. He even took time to call me when I was in the hospital when I was concerned about my health problem. I would highly recommend him to everyone if you need a oncologist or hematologist. He is great!!!!

I can’t rave enough about Dr. Byrne! Not only is he an excellent doctor but he is just absolutely so nice and genuine. Dr Byrne takes the time to explain whatever you need to make sure you feel comfortable. He was the doctor overseeing my medical needs when I was in the hospital and then after my hospital care he continued to treat me ever since. I am very picky when it comes to any medical professional and he instantly broke through that wall from day 1. He made me feel completely comfortable and gave me the knowledge that I need to understand my condition and how to manage it. I absolutely recommend Dr. Byrne if your in need of a hematologist/oncologist. I also want to take the time to acknowledge ALL the staff in his office. They are super nice and will help you in any way they can. I have never once had any bad experiences when I call or am in the office. Every single staff member will make you feel welcome. When you begin or continue your care in this office, just know you will be in the best care possible.

At the HHC Oncology department in Plainville I always receive excellent care during my visits. The doctors are friendly and professional and the nurses are wonderful.

If you have to see an oncologist I highly recommend Dr. Bryne. He is compassionate, understanding, patient, and responsive. My elderly mother sees him and I am her point of contact although I am in CO. He is very honest with me in regards to treatment and is patient focused. The staff is fantastic in working with scheduling conflicts, responsiveness, and answering questions. I am very pleased with the care my mother has been receiving by Dr. Bryne.

Dr. Byrne has excellent “bedside manner “ and makes me feel very comfortable and confident that he is a major part of my medical team. He explains things in a way that is easy for me to understand and gives me all the time I need to ask questions. He and the whole Hartford Healthcare system have been very responsive to all my needs.

Getting a cancer diagnosis is a frightening experience. I’m so glad I was referred to Dr. Brian Byrne. Dr. Byrne has been professional and well-versed regarding my diagnosis and treatment while also being compassionate and respectful. He has maintained consistent communication and has answered all of my (as well as my family’s) questions and concerns in a timely manner.
