MidState Medical Center Gets Top Billing Nationally for Patient Experience

MidState Medical Center has achieved the Healthgrades 2022 Outstanding Patient Experience Award – placing MidState among the top 15 percent of hospitals nationwide for patient experience, according to Healthgrades.
Healthgrades evaluated 3,173 hospitals that submitted patient experience surveys to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), covering admissions from July 2020 to March 2021. Of those hospitals evaluated, 399 hospitals outperformed their peers—based on their patient responses—to achieve this award.

To be able to achieve this recognition especially during a global pandemic, while still maintaining the highest standards of quality care, is truly remarkable.”
In addition to receiving the Outstanding Patient Experience Award for 3 years in a row (2020-2022), MidState Medical Center has been recognized for their clinical outcomes in Total Knee Replacement, Spinal Fusion Surgery, Treatment of Heart Failure, Treatment of Pneumonia and Treatment of Sepsis in 2022.
